Application Developer/Programmer Analyst

The Application Developer/Programmer Analyst will be responsible for creating detailed technical specifications, developing application code, participating in code reviews and quality testing, and performing ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement activities for desktop and web-based business and manufacturing applications. This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining company reports and providing training.

Education: BS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Experience: Up to 3 years experience programming Windows applications in an academic or manufacturing environment

Skills and Knowledge:

• • Ability to transfer user requirements into technical specifications
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Ability and willingness to change project specifications and priorities when needed
  • Familiar with the following languages: VB.Net or C#, C++, SQL, ASP
  • Familiar with the following databases: Access, Oracle, SQL Server or equivalent database system
  • Familiar with the following tools: Excel, IIS, Visual Studio, Source Safe

Material Handler

Thermo-Tech Windows, a growing vinyl window and door manufacturing company, has an opening for a Material Handler. The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient movement and storage of materials to support the business needs of the manufacturing operation. Operates gas forklift trucks to move, stack, load, or unload materials in and about the facility. Uses hand tools, forklifts, pallet trucks, and two-wheeled carts. Responsible for maintaining computerized inventory records and cycle counting.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: One year material handling experience preferred

Licensing and Certification: Must have valid MN Driver’s License

Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification
• Knowledge of manufacturing process and inventory flow
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products such as Word and Excel Spreadsheets
• Able to deal effectively with various personality types and cultures

Semi-Truck Driver

Thermo-Tech Windows, a growing vinyl window and door manufacturing company, has an opening for a Semi-Truck Driver that will be operating company vehicle(s) that are over 26,000 pound GVWR. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of windows and patio doors in such a manner that maintains and promotes excellent customer relations. The Semi-Truck Driver will deliver to local lumber yards and job-sites throughout MN and into the edges of WI, ND, SD, and IA. Some overnight trips may be required but would be very infrequent.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: One year previous semi-truck driving experience. Previous delivery experience preferred.

Licensing and Certification:

• Must have valid MN Driver’s License
• Class A CDL endorsement

Skills and Knowledge:

• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
• Customer relations skills.  Must meet company DMV record standards.
• Valid driver’s license and valid driving history (annual and pre-employment)
• Meet company appearance standards.

Window Assembler

Thermo-Tech Windows is accepting applications for full-time/permanent employees as Windows Assemblers for the first shift. The Window Assembler is expected to perform a wide variety of fabrication functions in accordance with quality, quantity and safety standards. The Window Assembler meets or exceeds the production standards in accordance with standard work instructions. The Window Assembler will provide and assist with training personnel. Must be flexible to work in other departments as needed and display a positive attitude. Use of hand and power tools is required. Previous production or construction experience is helpful but not necessary.
