Oriel Style Windows
Maybe a smaller bottom sash is more your style. Now Thermo-Tech offers Single-Hung and Double-Hung windows in Oriel style, too. Keep the original look of your home when renovating, enjoy your lake view or just try something different. Oriel windows have all the quality and features of the standard Single-Hung and Double-Hung windows, but give you the choice of having smaller bottom sashes.
- Flush mounted tilt latches.
- Single-Hung top glass is fixed into main frame and bottom sash tilts.
- Smooth gliding balance system uses constant force coil that needs no adjusting and little or no maintenance.
- Die-cast lock and keeper hardware draws in the sash for secure and weather tight locking.
- Slope sill directs water runoff even in a driving rain.
- Dual weather-stripped interlocks at the meeting rail and double layered weather-stripping on the sash maximize resistance to air, water and dust infiltration.

Double insulated glass with LoĒ² 272/Argon on one glass surface
Thermo-Tech windows come standard with double-pane insulated LoĒ² 272 glass featuring two panes of double-strength glass with an argon gas filled airspace for superior insulation. This option improves heating efficiency by nearly doubling the insulating power over ordinary clear glass, and blocks enough solar heat that cooling loads can be cut by 25% or more. Fading of furniture, floors, and drapes is reduced by filtering out 84% of the Sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays. Thermo-Tech products utilizing this High Performance Glass meet Energy Star guidelines in casements, fixed casements, direct sets, and awnings.

Our double-pane insulated LoĒ³ 366 heat-reflecting glass adds even more insulating power for premium thermal performance. Double-strength heat-reflecting glass with an Argon filled airspace delivers a balance of solar control, thermal performance, and high visibility to optimize home energy savings and comfort. Plus, this option provides additional fade protection by blocking 95% of the Sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays. It offers all the benefits of our Premium High-Performance glass while maximizing thermal and visibility benefits, compared to other double-pane options, by adding a LoĒ i89 coating on the interior glass surface. Together this combination ensures the greatest thermal performance in all dual-pane applications. Thermo-Tech products utilizing this Ultimate High Performance Glass meet Energy Star guidelines in single hungs, double hungs, casements, fixed casements, direct sets, sliding windows, awnings, and patio doors.

Obscure glass protects your privacy while allowing abundant light to enter the room. Choose from a variety of colors and texture patterns for a translucent to semi-opaque effect.
Grey or Bronze Tinted
Tinted glass provides additional shading from direct sunlight and warm conditions. A variety of tones and thicknesses are available.
Tempered Safety Glass
Tempered safety glass is extremely strong and often used for its safety characteristics. If tempered safety glass does break, it breaks into small pieces without sharp edges. Standard for patio door, side lights and even bathroom shower and tub enclosures, tempered safety glass is ideal for reducing the likelihood of injury in the event of breakage.
